Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare Trust

The Trust manages this beautiful riverside building, surrounded by gardens. It is the principal venue for Loki Music during the Spring and Summer months.

A local independent school with a good reputation for the Arts, this school owns The Lovekyn Chapel - our principal venue for events in the Winter.

Kingston Arts

Kingston Arts connects people active in the Arts in Kingston and helps to manage, fund and contribute to local festivals such as the Kingston Festival of the Voice, International Youth Arts Festival as well as smaller events. Loki Music has contributed several times to the FoV and IYAF.

All Saints' Church, Kingston

All Saints' contains some elements of Medieval stonework and is thought by some to have been involved in the crowning of Saxon kings. It has always been a centre for music in the town - both sacred and secular. It has recently hosted The London Abel Quartet and The Lovekyn Medieval Consort.

Marble Hill House

Surrounded by extensive riverside gardens, this beautiful 18th.-century house is currently undergoing restoration, but has started hosting concerts by Loki Music this year, hosting both The London Abel Quartet and The Lovekyn Consort.

Turner's House

Recently restored to its original design [by Turner], the artist's residence illustrates the interior and exterior environment in which Turner worked while living in Twickenham. This charming residence will soon host its first concert, to be given by The Turner Consort [voice, flute and guitar].

Strawberry Hill House

This was built by the 18th.-century writer, diarist, aesthete and gossip-monger Horace Walpole in faux-Medieval style within sight of the Thames as a country retreat.

Forty Hall, Enfield

This 17th.-century house is surrounded by colourful gardens and and hosts regular artistic activities. It has hosted various ensembles provided through Loki Music including Princes in the Tower and The Lovekyn Consort.

Walpole Old Chapel
-
This rural building - near Halesworth in East Suffolk - has become the principal venue in East Anglia for Loki Music's Summer season. With no heating and lighting, the wooden furnishings and large windows provide a resonant acoustic for sound and speech which played an important part in Suffolk's history.

The SRP has many branches in London and more throughout Britain. Each branch chooses its own conductor and music, and a typical branch meeting will include music for six or more parts from various eras with several players on each part.

Dan Evans - piano tuner

As well as assisting Cat - Loki Music's chef - Dan tunes pianos in London and the South East of England in homes, schools and concert halls. He has tuned the instruments in the Lovekyn Chapel.

Kingston Chamber Concerts

This is a series of concerts in All Saints' Church, which included The London Abel Quartet last year as well as more mainstream instrumentalists and singers.

Tea House Theatre, Vauxhall

This charming place serves tea, cake and lunch during the day and runs all sorts of events during the evening. It is the hub for the annual London Tournament, which marks and celebrate St George's Day - with the help of Princes in the Tower.

For anyone able to sing a vocal line within a section, this is always a fun event for amateur singers who come together for glorious music, with a drink to hand. This now happens in Kingston - in the Canbury Arms pub - every now and again, as well as in the usual venues near Waterloo station.
